4. I am not a professional furniture designer, but I have some rough
ideas and sketches, can I still participate in the challenge?
Yes, you can submit your works as long as they are clean, clear and legible for voters. Aspiring designers are more than welcomed to
submit their designs!

5. What kind of designs fit well with the Mirens brand? Could you give
me some general guidelines?
You can check out our current catalog to get a general sense of our taste.

7. I don’t use social media. How do I get people to vote for my work?
Not on social media? Not a problem, non social media folks will still have their designs promoted with Mirens as we will look to feature and share the designs with our audience as well. We’re more than happy to help you out.

8. Who owns the intellectual property of my submitted design?
You are the owner of your design IP unless your design is selected for production. There will be a designer agreement to be discussed between the designer and Mirens Inc. before production.

General FAQ

1. When and how will my order be delivered?
Depending on your location, your product(s) will arrive within 5-10 business days of the order date. You will receive an email or a call about scheduling a delivery date when the products are in the home delivery warehouse. If you ordered more than one item, we will try our best to combine the shipments into one delivery. If it is not possible to combine shipments, we will do our best to accommodate your schedules. Deliveries are made from Mondays to Fridays. Special requests can be made for weekend deliveries for an extra charge.

2. I’ve bought several items, will they arrive at the same time?

3. Can I pick up my order in a warehouse or showroom instead of having it shipped to my address?
At this time, Mirens does not have a warehouse nor a showroom at the moment, so products cannot be picked up. However, we are working hard to make the pick-up option available to customers in all major cities.

4. Can my order be delivered internationally?
Mirens ship to Canada and the US (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) only at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience. Shipping outside of Canada and the US is something Mirens is targeting to do in the near future. If you would like to be notified when Mirens can ship to your location, please send a request to customerservice@mirens.com.

5. My order is arriving too soon and I am not ready to receive it yet.  What should I do?
We will not deliver the product(s) to your home unless we have your confirmation about the delivery. If you would like to reschedule the delivery after you have confirmed, please contact customerservice@mirens.com immediately.  We can keep the product temporarily for no more than 2 days.  If the product needs to be stored for more than 2 days, a small storage fee might apply.

6. Will Mirens match or beat the price of the same product found elsewhere?
If the product is not on sale and is manufactured by the same supplier, Mirens will do our best to match the prices.  The match will not include account for shipping.  However, depending on our contractual agreement with the supplier, we might need to comply to a minimum advertised price.  Please contact us at customerservice@mirens.com with the name of the product in question as well as the product website of the similar product found elsewhere.  We will do our best to satisfy your request.

7. Is the website secure?
The Mirens website has security measures in place to protect the misuse, loss and modification of the information that is under our control.  All transactions are transmitted over secure Internet connections using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology. All personal information including your credit card information and sign-in password are stored in encrypted format at all times.

8. Is there any intellectual property infringement on your reproduction products?
Mirens will never breach an intellectual property right even when the products are reproductions of licensed designs.  These reproductions are clearly indicated on their product pages.  We expect our customers who design their own custom orders to respect all intellectual property rights and must agree to the Mirens terms of service.  If a design was never licensed, we work with experienced and qualified manufacturers to produce the most valuable products for our customers.
